From 2010-2021 Jaguar & Land Rover / Range Rover 3.0 & 5.0 Engines were plagued with weakness & design flaws. Consequently, there is an unprecedented demand for these engines. New Factory Engines cost anywhere from $15,000 to $35,000 (not including installation) and they are sold as bare long blocks (just heads and block). Moreover, the dealer charges an up-front core charge fee of $7,000 that is only refunded subject to approval of the core meeting certain criteria. For example: if the block has a hole in it, missing pieces, frozen or if it is torn down you don’t get your $7,000 back! Lastly, there is a six to eight month back order on dealer engines.

SOURCING:
We buy engines and cars on the international market. We have contracts to purchase retired factory test vehicles, damaged new cars which often occur during transport and we purchase cars directly from insurance companies. This ensures our end product (the remanufactured engine) is not warped, cracked, or damaged in any way which are common points of failure with other engine rebuilders.
ENGINEERING:
Our Engineer was able to determine that the 3.0 and 5.0 Jaguar & Land Rover / Range Rover Engines have several design flaws, which contribute to their massive rate of failure. Engines from the factory were made with very porous aluminum cylinder walls which even under the slightest overheat can crack, break or warp very easily. Each Cylinder is Free-Floating meaning there is no border around each cylinder like conventional vehicles so expansion of aluminum results in breaking.

Re-sleeved Blocks with oversized, heat-treated metal sleeves. Also decked and top-hatted for further rigidity.
